BRIEF SUMMARY
• The union of transgender woman Geraldine Mendoza, 38 years old, and Joevert
Berin, 26 years old, coincided with Pride Month. They got married on June 3,
2023 at the Luntian Resort in Balagbag Lipa, Batangas. The one who married
them was Reverend Cresencio Agbayani of the LGBTs Christian Church," They
were in a relationship for one and a half years before their union. "Marriage" is
what Geraldine calls the ceremony that happened to her and Joevert, although
same-sex marriage is not yet legal in the country. But that is not what is
important to Geraldine and Joevert, because for them, "marriage" is happened
between them in the name of love
