Environmental Management Organization
LIG Nex1 has appointed the CEO as the chief officer
for its environmental management decision-making
organization to facilitate systematic environmental
management activities. As environmental issues
have been growing both at home and abroad, we
have an organization dedicated to environmental
safety in place at each business site to respond more
quickly and preemptively to environmental issues.
Carbon-Neutral Response Plan
To participate actively in government policies on
responses to the global issue of climate change,
LIG Nex1 has established and implemented short-
term and medium-term goals as well as detailed
implementation plans, including the “Three No’s”
campaign (delete unnecessary email messages, go
paperless, and turn off electronic devices).
Environmental Management System
LIG Nex1 has environmental safety systems in
place and has obtained the following certifications:
Green Enterprise, ISO 14001, Korea Occupational
Safety and Health Agency – Management System
(KOSHA MS), Workplace of Excellence in Workers
Health Promotion Activities, Healthy Workplace
certifications, among others. We continuously
monitor these systems for suitability through internal
verification using the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Action)
cycle in addition to third-party verifications.

Use of Eco-Friendly Products
To actively respond to climate change, conserve
resources, and protect the environment, we are
expanding the purchase of eco-labeled products,
recycled products of high quality, and high-
efficiency-energy-certified products pursuant to
our internal green procurement policy. We use high-
efficiency lighting equipment across the board when
constructing or repairing/maintaining a building.
We also procure eco-friendly and high-efficiency
energy products for our business sites including PCs,
monitors, multi-function printers, and consumables.
Community Service Activities
LIG Nex1 regularly engages in river purification
and flower path creation activities as part of its
environmental contribution initiative. We also
participate actively in efforts to remove bur
cucumbers and reduce fine dust in conjunction with
the local community. We strive to fulfill our social
responsibilities continuously by eagerly carrying
out a wide range of activities, such as making and
sharing kimchi with welfare institutions, donating
to the medically vulnerable, donating books, and
sponsoring meal kits for Persons of Distinguished
Service to the State.
