Old Lifestyle

In this article we talk about our parents and grandparents lifestyle in the 70’s & 90’s.
We spotted that it was very different than today. There were many changes trough
time for example people were more active, they played basketball, soccer, or baseball
in the afternoon on the street. They also run and played with their neighbors and
acquaintances with the traditional games spinning top, “yoyo”, hide-and-seek,
enchanted and others.

Many of them didn’t have a car, so they ride a bike, walked many kilometers or they
moved by bus to arrive at school or any other place.
In their free time, they usually spent time with their friends and family. Few people
had a T.V. then they listened to the radio or went to a party.
Some people listened to music on the radio. They listened to pop music, classical
music, rock music, religious music, and regional Mexican music.

They had a healthier diet. They didn’t eat junk food, like
chips, soda, or popcorn. They ate healthier food, like meat, .
fruit and vegetables that they wen cultivated by themselves.
It was interesting to do this activity because we learn that
were many changes over time, even our parents and
grandparents urged us to seize the opportunities we have,
and they didn’t have.
