Pinocchio sold a book bought by Geppetto to enter Marionette's theater.

And he was
dragged into the theater in a flash. Then he was almost used as firewood by a scary
person. Pinocchio managed to survive when he asked for mercy.

The artist's intention was to realistically describe the suffering of the Italian
common people in the late 19th century. It reflects the lives of poor Italian rural
people. The scene in which Pinocchio violated Geppetto's words and was used by
crooks reflects the fact that farmers went to the city to find work in 19th century
Italian society and were swindled. In addition, the fairy tales read by young
children through the first sentence satirize a society that was only full of royal
stories.

When I read Pinocchio books when I was young, I didn't think of anything. However,
after looking at it more closely, it seems to reflect the reality of that era well.
It also occurred to me that I would never be able to live in those times. And I
thought the writer seemed to express it very freely. I wanted to see other works by
this artist
