add accessories and change the facial features as
much as you would like. Just remember to disclose it
when you share your work.

In this project, I used:
Hooks:

2.5mm

3.5mm

Yarns used:

Size 2 sport weight yarn (I used generic yarns available in our

country called 5ply milk cotton yarn)

Yarn colors:
3 shades of blue (light, medium, dark)
Skin – light brown
2 shades of periwinkle (light and dark)
Black
2 shades of pink (bright and light)
Beige
Royal blue (size 1 fingering weight, for the
Wood brown
butterfly applique)
White
Black (size 1, for the sandals)
Cream

Others:

16mm flat safety eyes and washers (I used round safety eyes)

1mm wire for the glasses (preferably copper/green colored; if not,

you may coat the wire with the desired color using nail polish)

A supporting structure for the head; it may be:

Thick paper (This is what I used, I layered 2 pieces of 150gsm

paper)

Acetate

And the essentials:

Thread cutter Stitch markers (I use spare

Needles threads as stitch markers)

Fiber fill Fabric glue

Pins Tweezers

THIS PROJECT CAN BE MADE IN ANY SIZE OF YARN!


JUST REMEMBER TO USE THE APPROPRIATE CROCHET
HOOK
TIP: For amigurumis, I use a 1mm size less than the

preferred crochet hook size

(e.g. recommended hook size is 3mm, I will size down to

2mm)

Yarn tension - not too tight, not too loose. You may use different
