Anchor: Good morning,

Welcome back.......

Few days ago, October 28, 2023, Indonesia was commemorating the 95th
anniversary of the Youth Pledge.

The Youth Pledge is a historic event that took place on October 28, 1928. On
that day, a group of young Indonesians from different ethnic groups gathered in
Jakarta and vowed to unite as one homeland, one nation, and one language.
Indonesia.

The Youth Pledge is a powerful symbol of Indonesia's unity and diversity. It is a

reminder that we are all part of one nation, regardless of our race, ethnicity, or
religion.

Commemorating the Youth Pledge in schools is important for several reasons.

First, it helps to instill a sense of national identity and pride in students. Second,
it promotes understanding and tolerance among students from different
backgrounds. Third, it encourages students to be active citizens who contribute
to the development of their country.

At Mardi Yuana junior high school commemorate the Youth Pledge in a

variety of ways. The school held a flag ceremony where students recite the
Youth Pledge and learn about its significance. The event was attended by
students, teachers, and staff. The school also organize activities that promote
unity and diversity, such as cultural festivals, included a performance of
traditional dances from different Indonesian regions, a poetry reading, a vocal
group performance, and a drum band performance.

I believe that it is important for all schools to commemorate the Youth Pledge.
It is a way to honor the sacrifices of our forefathers and to ensure that the spirit
of unity and diversity continues to live on in Indonesia.

Thank you for watching.

I'm Calista Nicole, a representative of SMP Mardi Yuana Serang.

Have a nice day.....
