Today is the first day of my observation, I was excited and at
R the same time nervous thinking how will this day end. I meet
with the CNHS principal and different AP teachers. They are
S
so welcoming; they welcome us with a smile and greetings.
T We were assigned to different CT's and ma'am Jessa Torres
was the one assigned to me. We look around the campus,
meet our CT's students and observe their classes. It was a
very tiring and enjoying day.

Y It was a very exciting day, I attend five different classes,
two in the morning under sir Nicanor Grabanzor and C
three in the afternoon under ma'am Marife Rentutar.
O
Every class has different activities which is so engaging.
Some had a class discussion where the students N
participate actively, flag making where in the students
show their talents and creativity in this activity, they even D
had an activity which is called HIS-2 similar to the game
BINGO. I saw the enjoyment of the students as they do
these different activities. Truthfully a learner-centered D
approach is the best approach in teaching students.

H On October 18, 2023, I woke up early in the morning and started
preparing for my third day of observation. I arrived at Candon
I National High School right before the time. With Ma'am Benito and
R Ma'am Sumao-i, we enter the AP Department. I found out that Ma'am
Marife Rentutar will be my new CT for the reason that Ma'am Jessa
D Torres doesn't have yet 3 years of service or teaching experience at
CNHS. That's why she cannot be my CT. We observe two different
grade levels, grades 10 and 8. I saw a huge difference during my
D observation, and I can say that the grade 8 students are easier to
handle compared to the grade 10 level. Grade 8 students are so active
A during the discussion; they are paying attention to the teacher
compared to the grade 10, who are some of them doing their own

stuff and are noisy. It was sure the most different day I ever
experienced, but overall, I learned a lot.
