Actual procedure followed

First of all open the software then set Working directory and Create a New part file
utilizing the default templet and entre and enter the name of the Model “MUFF
COUPLING ”

Step No : 01 Once open the Proe Software, go to upper left corner and click the
sheet of paper to create a new document.
1. Click on Part then OK
2. In our design we are going to use MMNS-PART SOLID unit system, so in
order to do that; select options icons on the toolbar
3. Click on Document Properties tab.
4. In the left menu, select “Units”.
5. In the unit system bar, choose “MMNS-PART SOLID”.
6. Click OK

Step No : 02

Select the “FRONT” plan to draw the MUFF .

Draw the circle diameter of 25 mm and extrude it by 80mmAND AFTE THAT
SELECT THE FRONT plane and draw the rectangle of 4X8 and use extrude up to
60mm and remove material the use round command give 2mm round and click on
ok

Use chamfer give it angle X D which is 45X2 and click on ok and save it

Draw the inner and outer circle diameter of 63 and 25 draw the rectangle use
extrude command by 80 and remove material and save it

Step 4

Select the front plane draw the rectangle of 8X98 and use extrude command and
save it

ASSEMBLY OF MUFF COUPLING

Step No : 5

To assembly the MUFF COUPLING, Create new file and set the Working
Directory. Then utilizing the default template and entre and enter the name of the
Model ASSEMBLY_OF_ MUFF COUPLING Select the Assembly option …
.. 1. Click on Part then OK
2. In our design we are going to use MMNS PART SOLID unit system, so in order
to do that; select options icons on the toolbar
3. Click on Document Properties tab.
4. In the left menu, select “Units”.
5. In the unit system bar, choose “MMNS_ASM_DESIGN”.
6. Click OK

Step 6

First, we will place the bottom plate part in the assembly and assemble it at default
location

Open file choose the part use use coincident command
