many people probably already know this old film, especially cat lovers, because "A
Street Cat Named Bob" was broadcast in 2016. This film is based on a true story
published in a book with the same title. It concerns the friendship of an orange cat
named "Bob" with a drug addict and homeless person named James Bowen. This
book about the story of the street cat Bob saving and making James Bowen's life
successful, became a Best Seller, and was serialized, then made into a film, directed
by Roger Spottieswoode. James Bowen is actor Luke Treadaway, while the cat is
actually played by the cat Bob himself.

B.SYNOPSIS
tells the life journey of a homeless and street singer named James Bowen. He
spends his daily time busking to make ends meet and sleeping on the street. The
income from busking never fulfills his food needs, especially if he doesn't make any
money at all. He was forced to pick up food from the trash can. The difficult life of a
street artist and addict has long stuck with James. To the point that his own father
didn't want to have anything to do with him.
 A psychiatrist named Val, who wanted to save James' life, finally gave him a place
to stay so that James was willing to regularly participate in a healing program because
the psychiatrist felt that James really wanted to recover and would try to do it.
During his recovery period, James' life is still difficult even though he now has a
place to stay.

One day when James was taking a shower he heard something come into his house
so he checked the source of the commotion, it turned out that an orange cat entered
his house through his window and this was the first meeting between James and the
orange cat.

james tried to let go of the cat but the cat always returned to James' place. Then,
James tried to find the owner of the cat by asking Betty, who was James' neighbor,
but Betty didn't know the cat. Betty was the person who always helped James and
Bob, especially when Bob is injured. Finally, James kept the cat and gave him the
name Bob, and they became friends.

Bob always followed James, even when James was singing, one of his
characteristics was that Bob was always on James' shoulder. This made many people
feel funny seeing him, many of them asked for photos and even gave James money
while busking because he was accompanied by Bob.
 But this didn't last long, because of a problem, James wasn't allowed to busk so he
had to look for another job, James got a job as a magazine boy, he always carried Bob
in his bicycle basket. Because he brought Bob many people were impressed and
many bought the newspaper that he colonized and many also immortalized the
moment between James and Bob on social media.

Despite going through many problems starting from Bob disappearing for several
days and James trying to stop his addiction, James and Bob were able to go through
all of this, so that one day One day a book media wanted to help James and told him
to write about him and Bob. The book was famous, James and Bob were famous for
being friends between humans and amazing animals.END
C.STRENGTH AND WEAKNESS POINTS
The strength of this film is that this film is a true story that was recorded and is a
best seller and the cat that plays this film is the real cat of the owner james bowen.
has good background music, beautiful city street views in England are also shown in
this film. The life drama also looks real because it shows the life of a homeless
person where the actor sleeps on the street and eats food from the trash. This film has
a meaning about friendship, friendship not only with humans but with animals we can
also be friends, trying to achieve something, and happiness can come because of
even small things.

The weakness of this film is that at the end of the film it is not shown how he
made the book, and several scenes where the story is suddenly or not explained so
that the audience may be confused.
