ABSTRACT
Introduction:: Fine motor development is the child's ability to observe something, move by involving certain body parts
which are carried out by small muscles. One of the stimulations that can increase fine motor skills is brain exercise.
Aims: This study aims to see the effect of brain exercise on the fine motor development of stunting toddlers in Enrekang
Regency. Method: This research is a pre-experimental study with one group approach pre-test and post-test. The
The sample in this study were 28 stunting toddlers aged 24-59 months. Sampling in this study used nonprobability
sampling with a total sampling approach, data collection was carried out using Denver II to determine the fine motor
development of stunting toddlers, the data obtained statistical test used was the Wilcoxon test with a significance value
of α = 0.05. The results of the study where the value of ρ = 0.002, this shows that the value of ρ <α which means that
there is an effect of brain exercise on the fine motor development of stunting toddlers in Enrekang District.
Conclusion: Brain exercise is a can stimulate fine motorcycle development in stunting toddlers that can be done
by nurses and parents of stunting toddlers at home.
