TEXT:
Production is any human activity, which result in the creation of utilities. That is to say
goods and services which satisfy people’s wants. Farmers and miners provide raw materials
and manufacturers turn the raw materials into finished products. Commerce is the
distribution of the world goods to satisfy the needs of the people.
The commercial occupations include different steps. Trade is the buying and selling of
goods. Wholesale traders purchase goods in large quantities and retail traders buy small
quantities from suppliers and sell directly to the public (consumers). Transport is the
moving of raw materials from primary producing countries to manufacturing countries.
And when goods are manufactured, they must be moved to the final consumers either at
home or abroad.
