PROJECT NAME: Project Management Certifications & Jobs status of the art

Overview:

Are you a seasoned project manager or project leader passionate about fostering collaboration and
strengthening ties among PMI chapters in the Mediterranean region? Join us in the "Project
Management Certifications & Jobs status of the art" initiative, led by PMI Lebanon Chapter under the
umbrella of the larger “Mediterranean Program” launched by some chapters in the region (PMI Italy,
Greece, Tunisia, Morocco, Turkey, Spain, Cyprus and many others ) to facilitate an impactful
collaboration spanning the Mediterranean.
This project’s goal is mapping the situation of project managers demand in the region, how project
managers are grown, what kind of certifications they are looking for, where do they work, how much
they are paid.
As a Volunteer Project Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating and managing this one-year
project, bringing together PMI chapters to work collectively toward shared goals.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Strategy:


Collaborate with PMI Turkey Chapter leadership to define project objectives, scope, and
deliverables.
Develop a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource
requirements.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success.

Stakeholder Engagement:
Identify and engage PMI chapters across the Mediterranean region interested in participating in
the collaboration.
Foster strong relationships with chapter leaders and volunteers, serving as the main point of
contact for project-related matters.

Project Execution:
Lead the execution of project activities, ensuring alignment with the project plan and timeline.
Coordinate collaborative efforts among participating chapters, including virtual meetings,
workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary to keep the
project on track.

Communication and Reporting:


Maintain regular communication with all participating chapters, providing updates on project
milestones, achievements, and challenges.
Prepare and deliver project status reports to project stakeholders and chapter leadership.
Create and maintain project documentation and knowledge repositories.

Resource Management:
Collaborate with chapter leaders to allocate and manage project resources effectively.
Facilitate the sharing of knowledge, best practices, and resources among chapters.
Risk Management:
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Proactively address issues that may impact project success.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully managing complex
projects.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with
diverse stakeholders.
Knowledge of the PMI framework and a passion for promoting project management excellence.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and remotely, managing a virtual team across multiple locations.

Business School" initiative, led by PMI Lebanon Chapter under the umbrella of the larger
“Mediterranean Program” launched by some chapters in the region (PMI Italy, Greece, Tunisia,
Morocco, Turkey, Spain, Cyprus and many others ) to facilitate an impactful collaboration spanning
the Mediterranean.
This project’s goal is building the map of academies, university and business schools that are
delivering professional training of Project Management and PMO Governance.

project, bringing together PMI chapters to work collectively toward shared goals.
