Conclusion

Nowadays, revenge pornography become one of the most issue that are often
arise in the news page. Even though the authority had been take action in this
particular issue in order to weaving the issue,this issue still rampant and had been
taken lightly by the society. This is the causes of the lack of awareness of revenge
pornography among the citizen.However,revenge pornography can be overcome by
various of ways by raising the awareness about revenge pornography among citizen.

Therefore,a few solutions such as spread awareness about the issue of revenge
pornography,its impact, and legal implications should be taken.For example a
campaign should be executed by the government to alert people to be careful and to
take safety measurement before more victim involved in this cases.Moreover,it is
can also be included in the education of the society.The instructors can educate
individuals on the importance of consent,respect,and digital hygiene when it comes
to sharing intimate content .For example, teachers can teaching about sexual
harassment and something related to its such as our main topic which is revenge
pornography to the students.They can easily mix the psychology of sexual
harassment into many psychology courses.

Futhermore, revenge pornography is something that can happen in anytime and

from anywhere let alone in this modern and full of advance technology that allowed
us to easily access internet. Therefore, there is various approachment that we can
do to prevent revenge pornography in our country and in our society. Firstly, from
the perspective of individuals itself,they need to strengthen privacy setting of their
media social account. For example, regularly review and update your privacy
settings on your media social to ensure that only trusted individuals have access to
your content. You can also limit the visibility of your posts, photos, and personal
information to your friends or select group of people.This is important in order to
prevent your picture to be use in a certain bad way such as being edited by a
stranger.

Other than that, individuals also need to think before sharing anything in the
media social.They need to exercise caution when sharing personal images or videos,
even with trusted individuals such as their own boyfriend.This is because study
showed that revenge pornography is often rooting from the broken relationships
between couple. Individuals must remember that once they shared something in
media social, it may become difficult to control or delete.

On top of that,report and seek support. If you become a victim of revenge

pornography, do not hesitated to make a police report. As the saying goes “fortune
favors the bold”. Also, seek support from friends,family, or professionals who can
provide emotional and legal guidance during this challenging time.

Last but not least, the government and legislation should also provide cooperation
in the term of legal law in Malaysia such as make an improvement in the privacy law
in order to give more protection and reassure the victim of revenge pornography.
This is because compare to another country,our law can consider weak and not to
efficient in the way to help the victim of this issue. The legislative can make an
improvement to the law such as execute the law to give compensation to the
victim.This matter can not be taken lightly because the victim may face a lots of
difficulty in order to overcome and move on from this issue. Therefore,there is hope
from all circle of people so that the law can be more strict and efficient in order to
help the society to get their voice out.
