So, if needed, more recent versions of the components must be downloaded from the
Agfa Medimg Library and installed.
Only those installers are started by the activation utility, that have been selected in
ELMS and with which the alf file has been constructed.
REQUIRED BACKUPS:
The following file from the original installation must be available:
Backup of the NX configuration
In case the backup is not available, the complete configuration (X-ray device, detector,

9 Load License
NOTE:
To re-load the license two scenarios are possible:
The existing license file can be installed again. This is the case when the
hardware of the AIO PC has not been changed. See chapter 9.1.
A new license file from ELMS needs to be installed. This is the case when the
hardware of the AIO PC has been exchanged, because the MAC address of the
new PC has to be included in the license file. See chapter 9.2.

(5) Click the Add License ... button.
Figure 26
(9) A message will be shown that the licenses have been updated and the
NX password will be changed after reboot!
9.2 Load new license from ELMS (Hardware has been exchanged)
When replacing the AIO PC, a new NX license file (ALF file) is required.
It is important to follow the "ELMS swap PC workflow" to obtain the new ALF file.
For instructions refer to the latest NX Service Manual (as of NX 22.00), chapter 4,
Installation and Configuration Appendices, section "Obtaining a new ALF file when
