C Push-button ignition switch
Starting engine
1. Carry the access key, and sit in the driver’s seat.
2. Apply the parking brake.
3. Shift the select lever in the P position. The engine can also
start when the select lever is in the N position, however, for
safety reasons, start in the P position.
4. Depress the brake pedal until the operation indicator on the
push-button ignition switch turns green. When starting with
the select lever in the N position, the indicator does not turn
green.
5. While depressing the brake pedal, press the push-button
ignition switch.
Stopping engine
1. Stop the vehicle completely.
2. Move the selector lever to the P position.
3. Press the Push-button Ignition Switch.
The hybrid system will stop, and the power will be switched off.
Every time the button is pressed without depressing the brake pedal,
the power is switched in the sequence of OFF➞ACC➞ON➞OFF.
2 Intermittent interval
To change interval speed, turn dial.
3 Washer
To wash the windshield, pull the wiper control lever
toward you.

I Illumination brightness control
To adjust brightness of the clock display and instrument panel
illumination, turn dial.

Multi-function display:
1 Outside temperature indicator
2 Information reminder:
5 If the information reminder appears, pull /SET
switch on the steering wheel toward you to recall
the message.
3 Top display:
Displays the driving range on remaining fuel,
average fuel consumption or current fuel
consumption.

Energy flow screen: You can display the following information on the multi function display.
- Status of the high voltage battery.
- Energy flow between engine, motor, high voltage battery and wheels.

Press to select between trip A and trip B. Press this knob to switch the display.
Press and hold to reset selected trip meter. For the details, please refer to Owner’s Manual.

G Select lever and gear position indicator
This indicator shows the position of the select lever.
When the manual mode is selected, the gear position indicator (which shows the current gear selection)
and the upshift/downshift indicator light up.
H ECO gauge
The ECO gauge shows the difference between the current rate of fuel consumption and the average rate
of fuel consumption since the trip meter was last reset. If the needle of the gauge moves towards the right
side, this indicates better fuel efficiency.

AT OIL TEMP warning Malfunction indicator (Check Engine)
Transmission fluid temperature is too hot / Engine/emission control system malfunction.
Transmission control system malfunction.
EV mode lamp
Driving only using the motor power.
The engine is stopped by the Auto Start
Stop system.
*Some warning/indicator lights illuminate for a few seconds in order to check themselves when
the ignition switch is turned ON. 9

To fasten:
1 Raise the head restraint to the
extended position.
2 Remove the tongue plate from the belt
holder on the right side of the cargo area
and pull out the seatbelt slowly.
3 Pass seatbelt through the belt guide.
To unfasten:
4 Insert webbing end to connector. Insert a tongue plate or other hard
5 Fasten seatbelt in the usual way. pointed object into the slot in the buckle.

F Folding down rear seatback
To fold rear seatback down, pull knob and fold the
seatback down.
G Lower anchorages
Lower anchorages (bars) are provided for installing
child restraint system.
They are located where seat cushion meets seatback.

Power windows
Ignition switch must be in ON.

and release, window goes down all the way; pull

Press button down until clicks,
only driver’s window operates;
press again and passenger windows function again.

A AUTO button
FULL AUTO mode operation:
When the AUTO button is pressed, the indicator light FULL AUTO on the display illuminates.
In this state, fan speed, air flow distribution, air-inlet control, and air conditioner compressor
operation are automatically controlled.

F Air conditioner button
Press A/C button to select air conditioner ON/OFF.
ON: Press the air conditioner button while the fan is in operation to turn on the air conditioner.
OFF: Press the button again.
