A Tilt/telescopic steering wheel


Adjust the seat position and pull the tilt/telescopic lock lever down.
Move the steering wheel to the desired level.
Pull the lever up to lock the steering wheel in place.
Make sure that the steering wheel is securely locked by moving it
up and down, and forward and backward.

B Hazard warning flasher


To turn on, push switch.
Use in emergency conditions.

C Push-button ignition switch
Starting engine
1. Carry the access key, and sit in the driver’s seat.
2. Apply the parking brake.
3. Shift the select lever in the P position. The engine can also
start when the select lever is in the N position, however, for
safety reasons, start in the P position.
4. Depress the brake pedal until the operation indicator on the
push-button ignition switch turns green. When starting with
the select lever in the N position, the indicator does not turn
green.
5. While depressing the brake pedal, press the push-button
ignition switch.
Stopping engine
1. Stop the vehicle completely.
2. Move the selector lever to the P position.
3. Press the Push-button Ignition Switch.
The hybrid system will stop, and the power will be switched off.
Every time the button is pressed without depressing the brake pedal,
the power is switched in the sequence of OFF➞ACC➞ON➞OFF.

D Headlights / Turn signal


3 1 Headlights
To turn on, rotate knob to;
: Instrument panel illumination, headlights,
parking lights, front side marker lights, rear
side marker lights, tail lights and license plate
1 lights are on.
: Instrument panel illumination, parking lights,
2 front side marker lights, rear side marker lights,
tail lights and license plate lights are on.
3 AUTO (if equipped) :
Headlights and the lights mentioned above
are automatically ON / OFF.
: The headlights are all off.
2 High/low beam change
To change to high beam, push lever forward. To return, pull back to detent.
To flash high beams, pull lever toward you and release.
3 Turn signal
Move lever up or down.
Even if the ignition key is removed from the ignition switch, the lights can be illuminated by
operating the light control switch position from (off) to or .
To prevent the battery from discharged, before leaving the vehicle, make sure that the light
control switch is turned to (off).

E Fog lights (if equipped)
To turn on, rotate dial to .
Front fog lights operate only when
headlight switch is in:
- position.
- AUTO position and the headlights are on.

F Windshield wiper and washer

To change interval speed, turn dial.

To wash the windshield, pull the wiper control lever

G Rear window wiper and washer

H Remote control mirror switch

Return the control switch to the neutral position to prevent
unintentional operation.

I Illumination brightness control
To adjust brightness of the clock display and instrument panel
illumination, turn dial.

When the control dial is turned fully upward to position,


the illumination brightness becomes the maximum and the
automatic dimming function does not work at all.

J Continuously variable transmission

To deactivate the Vehicle Dynamics Control system,

L Cruise control (if equipped)
Cruise control enables you to maintain a constant vehicle
speed without holding your foot on the accelerator pedal
and it is operative when the vehicle speed is 40 km/h (25 mph)

without taking his/her hands off the steering wheel.

Press to select between trip A and trip B. Press this knob to switch the display.
Press and hold to reset selected trip meter. For the details, please refer to Owner’s Manual.

G Select lever and gear position indicator
This indicator shows the position of the select lever.
When the manual mode is selected, the gear position indicator (which shows the current gear selection)
and the upshift/downshift indicator light up.
H ECO gauge
The ECO gauge shows the difference between the current rate of fuel consumption and the average rate
of fuel consumption since the trip meter was last reset. If the needle of the gauge moves towards the right
side, this indicates better fuel efficiency.

A Front seat adjustment

rear door cannot be opened from the inside.

Sunroof (if equipped)


Sliding: OPEN / CLOSE switch
1 Open: Slide the rear side.
2 Close: Slide the front side.

A AUTO button
FULL AUTO mode operation:
When the AUTO button is pressed, the indicator light FULL AUTO on the display illuminates.
In this state, fan speed, air flow distribution, air-inlet control, and air conditioner compressor
operation are automatically controlled.

AUTO mode operation:


If you operate any of the buttons on the control panel other than the OFF button, rear window
defogger button and temperature control dial(s) during FULL AUTO mode operation, the
FULL indicator light on the control panel will turn off and AUTO indicator light will remain
illuminated. You can then manually control the system as desired using the button you
operated. To change the system back to the FULL AUTO mode, press the AUTO button.

B Fan speed control dial C Temperature control dial


Turn dial to turn on and to select fan speeds. Turn the dial to regulate the temperature
of airflow.
Turn the dial to set the preferred interior
D Airflow mode selection dial / button temperature.

Press button to select air flow.
ON (recirculation): Interior air is recirculated inside vehicle.

F Air conditioner button
Press A/C button to select air conditioner ON/OFF.
ON: Press the air conditioner button while the fan is in operation to turn on the air conditioner.
OFF: Press the button again.

Rear window defogger / Outside mirror defogger (if equipped) /


G Windshield wiper deicer (if equipped)
Press button to turn on rear window defogger, outside mirror defogger (if equipped) or
wiper deicer (if equipped). The function will automatically shut off after about 15 min.

H OFF button J DUAL mode button


Press this button to turn off the climate Press this button to separate temperature

side can be enabled.
I Defroster button
Press this button to defrost windshield.

MAINTENANCE
To keep your vehicle in proper operating condition and to assure peak performance at all
times, the recommended maintenance service should be performed in accordance with the
maintenance schedule. Refer to the Owner's Manual for information on maintenance items
and intervals.
Also, we recommend that you check your vehicle yourself daily for more comfortable use of
your vehicle.
When you are going to check your vehicle yourself, please do so in compliance with in the
Owner’s Manual.
