Objectives:
 To develop an understanding of the foundation and framework of the Constitution of India
 To develop an in-depth understanding of the Fundamental Rights framework under the
Constitution of India.
 To gain insight into the evolution of the Fundamental Rights and duties under the
Constitution of India.
Outcomes:
The student will be able to appreciate and understand –
 To develop an understanding of the statutory provisions regarding the Fundamental Rights
and duties under the Constitution of India (PLO 1a and PLO 1b)
 To acquire the ability to interpret various provisions pertaining to Fundamental Rights and
their evolution by the Judiciary (PLO 1a)
