Die Carts

Atlas self-powered
Die Carts are used in
hundreds of installations
for fast, accurate and safe
die or mold changeover.
They provide controlled
movement and positioning
of dies in stamping presses
or press lines, via pendant
or line controls.
A single cart and two racks can serve two
stand-alone or tandem line presses. This
contract stamper minimizes inventory and
maximizes uptime with a die/rack system.

Benefits
Die changeover in minutes, with highly repeatable position-
ing of dies (eliminates trial-and-error repositioning)

More available production time for presses

Quick die change allows inventories to be minimized;

enables efficient batch-run capability

Eliminates the need for cranes to move the dies in and out
Alignment guide
prevents subplate of presses
drift
Reduces potential for damage to dies and presses
Load rolls
Improved part quality assurance (due to reduced die dam-

Reliability and Maintainability (R&M): proven technology and

heavy-duty design result in higher R&M

Improved ergonomics and safety factors

Gripper Industry leader: Atlas has more cart-based die change sys-
tems in the field than all competitors combined
