SUBJECT: GENERAL STUDENTS COUNCIL – 15 & 16 DECEMBER 2022 – OTJOZONDJUPA

Dear Comrades,
1. Receive herewith greetings from the National Executive Committee. The
above subject bears’ reference.
2. Article 11 of the NANSO Constitution provides for the convention of a General
Students' Council (GSC), which is the highest decision-making body of NANSO in
between two congresses. The GSC convenes every six (6) months, with a quorum
of 2/3 of its members on dates recommended by the National Executive
Committee. A months’ notice is required in this regard.
3. Consequently, the National Executive Committee at an ordinary seating
resolved to convene the General Students’ Council on the 15th & 16th December
2022 in Otjozondjupa Region.
4. As the Official Secretary of the General Students Council, I hereby take this
liberty to notify you all that there will be a General Students Council (GSC) meeting
as scheduled for the 15th & 16th December 2023, in Otjozondjupa Region. Arrival
and departure dates for delegates will be the 14th and 16th respectively.

5. Kindly be informed that all Regional Chairpersons are expected to bring

along:
a) Reports on Programmes and Activities for the last six 6 months;
b) Programmes and Activity plans for the first six (6) months of 2023;
c) Membership Database of members in the region.

6. All delegates are urged to submit agenda points if any, on or before the 20th
November 2023 via secretarygeneral@nanso.org

7. The National Executive Committee will provide for transport, meals and
accommodation. The Secretary for Finance and Economics will make contact
regarding the logistics to and from the Otjozondjupa Region.

8. I trust that the above is in order and will be matched with a positive response.
