General Instructions:

All Questions are Compulsory.

1. Find the area of a rhombus having each side 13cm and one of whose diagonals is 24cm.
2. If the area of rhombus be 24cm2 and of its diagonals be AC = 4 cm. Find the perimeter of the
rhombus.
3. The area of trapezium is 180cm2 and its height is 9cm. If one of the parallel sides is longer
than the other by 6cm, find the two parallel sides.
4. How many 5cm cubes can be obtained(cut-off) from cube whose edge is 20cm?
5. What will be happen to the volume of cube if its edge is doubled?
6. A cuboids of block of solid iron has dimensions 50cm, 45cm and 34cm. How many cuboids of
size 5cm by 3cm by 2cm can be obtained from this block? Assume cutting causes no
wastage.
7. How many bricks of size 22cm X 10cm X 7cm are required to construct a wall 33m long , 3.5

m high and 40cm thick, if cement and sand used in the construction occupy !"th part of the
wall ?
8. The dimension of a cuboid are in ratio 1:2:3 and its total surface are is 88m2. Find the
dimensions.
9. Find the area of the four walls a room whose length is 6m, breadth 5m and height 4m. Also,
find the cost of white washing is Rs 5 per square metre.
10. A metal cube of edge 12cm is melted and formed into three smaller cubes. If the edges of
the two smaller cubes 6cm and 8cm, find the edge of the third smaller cube.
