Part 2:

The graph illustrates the proportion of crime rates in three separate regions in Newport inner city
during a 9-year period. Crime rates are measured in number of incidents.

From an overall perspective, it is evident that while burglary was the most noteworthy crime
from 2003 to 2006, car theft became the most prominent crime since 2007. The actual incidents
of personal robbery were the lowest during this period and remained constant in spite of some
fluctuations

Although burglary had the most cases in the year 2003 and it reached a peak in 2004, it took a
nosedive dramatically and its incidents fell below that of car theft to plummet to 1100 in 2008.
Afterwards, their numbers fluctuated between 1300 and 1400 until the end of the year 2012

The cases of car thefts stayed immutable at about 2800 till 2005 and showed an abrupt decline to
the lowest in 2006. Thereafter, it rose gradually during the rest of the period to reach over 2700
cases in 2012. It is noticeable that robbery was the least prevalent crime in Newport city centre
and the quantity of offences commited changed little over a nine-year period.

Part 1: Summary
The passage offers an illuminating insight into various enormous merits of teleworking and its
own underlying downsides. Telecommuting is synonymous with working from home which is
deemed a prevalent way of working. When it comes to telecommuting, it does facilitate
numerous individuals to cut corners and need not expend money on commuting to their
workplace. Moreover, by working from home, people are able to steer clear of extreme stress,
thus becoming far more zestful. Nevertheless, telecommuting has its manifest downsides.
Although several home workers are totally autonomous, it is likely that they feel secluded at
times. Productivity can also decrease as teleworkers can effortlessly get distracted by virtue of
family external factors. Besides, telecommuters have to take bills into account because escalating
costs are inexorable.
