The bar chart illustrates the propotion of Australian male and female by age group who did

exercise regularly in 2010. Overall, Australian women were reported to be more interested in
physical activities after graduating university while men were just more active during the period
of schooling.
Regarding the age from 15 to 44, Australian male experienced a considerable decrease, from
52,8 percent to 39,5 percent. However, the percentage of active female raised by 4,8 percent.
Furthermore, at the school-age, more men than women were interested in doing exercises,
represented 52,8 percent and 47,7 percent respectively.
Moving onto the rest of the chart, after declining from 15 to 44 years old, percentage of men
took up slightly increasing by 4 percent whereas women saw a significantly slump from 53,3
percent to 47,1 percent. Moreover, by the end of the period, both active Australian male and
female made up over nine out of twenty.
