responsible for the US replenishment business scaled
up and rebranded as Yunus USA. Yunus is one of the

Our ongoing project to construct 10 new cotton godowns is
nearing completion. The modern storage facilities will enhance
our capacity to ensure the highest quality cotton for our valued
customers.

& PLUCKER AREA
One of our Factory’s massive underground water tank, with a
staggering capacity of 572,670, gallons is now at an impressive
96% completion to ensure consistent and reliable water supply for
our entire facility. Right alongside it, our plucker area is abuzz with
activity. Here, our raw materials undergo meticulous preparation,
upholding the high-quality standards we're known for.

We're nearing completion, with 97% of the civil work
done on our new spinning units at YTM 9. This expansion

OUR STENTER MACHINE LINEUP
Our latest stenter machine is a symbol of our ongoing
textile innovation. This advanced equipment enhances
quality, sustainability, and precision drying. It represents a
significant step forward in maintaining our reputation for
impeccable textiles and is environmentally friendly,
aligning with our sustainability commitment by
conserving energy while delivering superior results.

EXCELLING ADVANCEMENT
PAD STEAM MACHINES
We've added advanced Pad Steam machines to our
production line. They improve fabric coloration, efficiency,
and address storage issues in our Dyeing Processing
functions, all enhancing quality of fabrics. This underscores
our ongoing dedication to excellence and innovation.

A CLEANER TOMORROW
ERENSON'S 25-TON
GAS BOILER
In a crucial step toward a cleaner future, we've erected,
installed, and commissioned Erenson's 25-ton Gas Fired
Boiler. This innovative technology slashes carbon emissions
and reduces. This innovative technology slashes carbon
emission and supports to improve our energy mix for a
better environment.

 NEEDLE SAFETY INITIATIVE
With the aim of eradicating needle injection incidents,
we have developed an innovative Needle Guide. This is
the initiative of our Mechanical team leads with effective
networking of Safety department. After a successful
pilot run on 40% of the single-needle machines it is
being implemented across all YTML sewing machines
stepping towards safe environment on daily basis. The
remaining machines will be equipped with the guard by
the end of 2023.

 A GATEWAY TO PROGRESS
NET ZERO PAKISTAN'S
TOWNHALL
We joined Net Zero Pakistan’s recent event, uniting industry
leaders for a town hall meeting. The aim was to promote
constructive dialogue on supplier assessment and foster
industry collaboration. This initiative enhances transparency,
accountability, responsible sourcing, and sustainability.

In our ongoing quest for sustainability, "Made in Green" is at
the forefront. This quarter, we proudly introduced 16 new
labels that embody our commitment to environmentally
friendly and sustainable products. These labels symbolize
our dedication to a greener future, and each one tells a
story of responsible production.

In our commitment to environmental responsibility, we've had
the Honor of spreading the cause on both national and
international platforms.

At the "Pathway to Net Zero" event, hosted by WWF Pakistan

at PC Hotel Karachi, we shared insights on strategies for
reducing GHG emissions in business value chains.

Furthermore , we also collaborated with Lidl Asia team and

delivered environmental awareness session representing
Yunus on their sustainability week 2023.

(Abdul Razzak Tabba campus), we organized
an interactive session promoting environmental

plantation activity .This endeavor not only
aligns with our BETTER Life ethos but also
resonates deeply with the United Nations
SDGs. We believe that sharing this knowledge

WORKSHOP BY AKUH
YTML received an invitation to participate in an
ESG capacity-building workshop hosted by Aga
Khan University Hospital (AKUH). Representing
YTML, Mr. Junaid Shekha, Head of Internal Audit,

CELEBRATION
ACROSS YTML
A unifying Independence Day celebration was
organized across all units of YTML. Where
employees were encouraged to express their
patriotism and creativity by decorating their
respective workspaces, setting a vibrant tone for
the day. The festivities kicked off with a ceremonial
flag hoisting, followed by a cake cutting ceremony
that brought smiles to all. It was a day where
employees reveled in the spirit of solidarity and
enjoyed every moment of this memorable event.

 TRAIN THE TRAINER
Building a pool of skilled in-house trainers
strengthens the organization's capacity to
respond to evolving training needs quickly.

“Train the Trainer” program, a whole day

session was organized in July. Train the Trainer
program's success was significantly boosted by
the active participation of our 20 in-house
faculty members from various departments. A
standout feature of this program was its strong
emphasis on hands-on experience. All of them
were immersed in real-life simulations of
training scenarios, which included roleplaying
as trainers and trainees.

 SENSITIZATION SESSION
Previously, we introduced YTML CHAMPIONS, a
made-to-order (MTO) program designed
specifically for individuals with disabilities. To
support our dedication to cultivating an
environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion, we
partnered with NOWPDP to conduct sensitization
sessions aimed at accommodating individuals with
unique abilities. These thorough sensitization
sessions provided our employees with guidance
on the best practices and protocols when
engaging with such individuals.
