Personal Description / Personal Presentation

Hello! My name is Lorena Altamirano, and I’m 37 years old. I was born in
Salta, a small city in the north of Argentina. I live with my small family; my
husband, my seven-year old son and my baby girl, who is 2. We all live near
the center of the capital city of Salta and we try to spend as much quality
time together as we can. There are many things that I enjoy doing, like
reading, working, cooking and playing with my children. Sometimes, my
routine can be chaotic, as my schedule is somehow complicated. Being a
teacher represents many daily challenges, but my loving students always
make it easier for me. I truly enjoy working, and being able to transmit
knowledge while we have a good time. I really can’t tell something I hate or
that I can’t stand. Maybe pizza with pineapple! I must say that being a
teacher and a mum sometimes represents a real hard work, but at the end of
the day, it is all worthy. My last holidays were quite simple as I stayed home,
and I didn’t travel. I thought could be fun for once, just stay in. These days,
staying at home have been hard, as working at home with children around is
hard and I cannot do my very best, though I really try to do it. My hopes for
this year are high regarding my students, as they seem a nice group, fun and
really Smart. They are doing very well with assignments and paper work they
have to email back. They are around thirty but they seem to be much more!
My only hope is that they transmit what they think and their doubts and
questions. This system of studying is weird for them too, so we all are
working on how to cope with it.
