Dear Sir,

am writing to bring to your attention a grave and deeplyconcerning incident that occurred on the evening of
October 4th, 2023, within the private premises of the Congress Party's Gandhi Bhavan office. This incident has
raised significant questions regarding the e>x.ercise of police powers and the protection of private property
rights, which demand your immediate attention and intervention.

On October 3rd, 2023, the Congress Parcy launched the innovative "Car Caipaign"
within the private premises
of the Gandhi Bhavan office. This campaigi involved branding three Anlassador Cars with the failed promises
made by the current governmeni. The vel icle was parked within our .ivate office premises, and no laws or
regulations were violated in its dispay

However, to our great dis1nay, Oii tne evenig f October th, a grOuj) of policemen from tle Begum Bazaar
Police Station entered our private office premises and confiscated our three branded vehicies. This act was
executed without presenting any legal war:ant, and the police office:s failed to provide any justification or
clarification for their behaviour. Such an acticn raises about the
concerns
protec tion of private property rights
and the exercise of police authority.

The Congress Party firmly believes in

upholding the rule of law and respecting the rights of citizens, even within
the realm of political expression and dissent. Therefore, we seek your urgert intervention in this matter to
provide us with the necessary clarification end, if warranied, take action against those responsible for this
incident.

Our demands are as follows:

1. A formal written clarification

explaining the legal basis for the confiscation of the Congress Party's property
within the private premises of the Ganuti Savan office.

2. If the confiscation is found to be uinjust or without legal grounds, we request immeciate return of our
property.

3.An investigation into the actions of the police officers involved in this incident to determinc ifany misconduct
or abuse of power occurred, and appropriat: action taker accordingly

4. Ensure that such incidents do nut occur in tie future by educating police officers about respecting the privacy
and property rights of political organisatiois.
