Lend pupils to discover that it is better
to use the meter unit for longer objects

If so, I have here questions for you.
Again children, which unit of length is
used to measure short objects? centimeter
Which unit of length is used to
measure longer objects? meter

Very good children! I think you’re now

ready for a group activity.

5. Application

At this time, I prepared an activity

for you. This activity needs speed and
accuracy. Are you excited class? Yes ma’am.

correctly children?

Definitely! All you need to have is

cooperation for this activity. The group
who will accomplish the task fast and
correctly will be announced as our
winner and will receive a prize from
me later.

Is it clear children? Yes ma’am.

Alright. Don’t open it yet children. Wait

for my go signal before you start
working with it.

Am I understood? Yes ma’am.

Now at the count of five, you must be

with your group.

(The teacher will count.)

Are all settled in? Yes ma’am.

Very good. I will give you only 5

minutes to finish the activity. Children,
you may start now.
