Greystone Salary Guide 2019

It’s been another very busy year in the UK Building Services market, even with some delayed workload due to the Brexit
process we have seen a record year for new placements.

As a specialist Building Services recruiter, we see a bird’s eye view of market activity across geographical borders,
disciplines and company types. The message from our clients is clear, existing workload is high and current resource
teams are stretched sometimes to breaking point; but being so close to Brexit deadlines has created a momentary
pause on large scale recruitment and new projects entering the market. However, the on-going outlook for the coming
year is positive with over 90% of our clients expecting their revenue to grow over the coming year and over 75% looking
to employ new staff to cover that growth.

As soon as a decision on Brexit is made (either way) there is going to be a colossal rush to secure the best resource to
tackle a huge number of projects that are given the go ahead.

In 2019’s salary guide you will find a comprehensive guide to both permanent salaries and contract rates of
pay, UK wide and across all disciplines.
