the youth and students. This knowledge will help attendees, including government officials,
educators, law enforcement agencies, and concerned citizens, to better recognize and counter
these recruitment efforts.
II. Objectives
2. To analyze the methods used by CTGs to recruit youth and students into their ranks.
3. To discuss the vulnerabilities and factors that make youth and students susceptible to
recruitment.
4. To raise awareness about the role of different stakeholders in preventing CTG recruitment.
The event began with a comprehensive overview of CTGs, their origins, ideology, and global
context. This session served as a foundational understanding for the subsequent discussions.
Session 2: Recruitment Strategies
This session delved into the various recruitment strategies employed by CTGs, with a specific
focus on how they target youth and students. Attendees learned about the use of propaganda,
social media, and direct interactions to attract vulnerable individuals.
The third session aimed to identify the vulnerabilities and factors that make youth and students
more susceptible to recruitment by CTGs. This included discussions on socio-economic
conditions, political grievances, and personal motivations.
In this session, attendees were introduced to the efforts being made by government agencies,
educational institutions, and community organizations to counter CTG recruitment. The
importance of proactive and preventive measures was highlighted.
V. Conclusion
The orientation served as an informative platform for attendees to gain a deeper understanding
of CTG recruitment strategies among youth and students. It emphasized the significance of
collaboration among various stakeholders in countering such recruitment efforts. The
