ARQvision BIM and Sustainable Architecture

The BIM methodology and the sustainable design are part of any project
developed by us.
We have a great expertise giving a good architectural design level of

BIM: our methodology

Our work methodology uses most the current building design technology
present at this days. Always searching the e ciency and correct
execution.

- Site Survey Geo tagged: Our method brings the Site Model in UTM
coordinates locating the project in its exact position in the Earth. We get
the real shape to seat the building in the best position. And develop the
Energy Analysis for a better sustainable characteristics.

- 3D Model: design a tridimensional building must be made

tridimensional. Our way to do architecture let us, since the rst sketch,
bring a clear image as will be the building to our clients.

- BIM Methodology: Design a building in 3D, let us add all the technical
data to the Model in an easy way. Then the project information is shared
with all other people concerned to the project. Each of them will
develop its area project to be added to the Project Model. Then, when
the project is built there are only one and up to date information.

- Energy Analysis: Our design standard add this analysis as default. This
secures a reduction in the use of resources in the building operation of
our clients. Optional can get LEED or PassiveHaus certi cations.

- BIM Project Coordination: At the same time as the project starts, key
information is shared with the other project stakeholders, such as
engineers, builders, etc. The information of engineering projects is
added to the Main Model, in order not only to detect potential con icts,
but also to give a total idea of the building project. During this phase,
the Coordination will give the guidelines for the correct execution of the
construction, on time and minimizing errors. Added to this,
Documentary Management is a preponderant pillar that we also
dominate.

- Industrialized Construction: when the construction phase arrives the

BIM method can reach high standards joining with the automatized
structure fabrication. That is possible thanks to the use of FRAMECAD
technology in LGS structures fabrication.

METHODOLOGY
Our methodology explained in some more than images.

Survey Data Geo Referenced

Made with a GPS, the GPX information from it is exported to DXF to be
opened with VectorWorks. Then we produce the Site Model as the rst
step of the BIM Model. Including the rst settings to ENERGOS to produce
the Energy Analysis. Once we develop the landscape, pads and roads, can
share the site reports as cuts and re lls for the budget study.

As a rst step, all this data is storage in a Cloud Disk shared to all people
concerned to the project.

3D Project Modelling and BIM Developing

The architectural design in 3D incorporates all the constructive elements
that will be used in the construction of the project. It is equivalent to
making an electronic model exactly the same as what will be built.

In this way, the reports of the amount of materials, area and any other
information necessary for the project are obtained.

Up to this point, the project can be shared in IFC or DWG for example, or in
XLS.

BIM: our methodology

Weather and Energy Analysis

Giving an answer as how will work the building when will be used by its
proprietaries, in all our developments we make an Energy Analysis with the
engine ENERGOS, part of VectorWorks, under LEED or PassiveHaus
standards. This procedure is checked constantly in the design phase to
assure the best conditions of habitability and use of resources.

If it is necessary an Energy Certi cation, we are capable to give to

specialist the Project Energy Data in formats CVS and IFC to be opened
by PHPP or IES-VE.

Industrialized Building
Thanks the use of BIM Methodology, let us interact with industrialized
process of construction. In particular, our connection with the automatized
LGS structures fabrication of our projects with FRAMECAD technology,
gives us a great certainty that will be built with high level of accuracy to the
BIM Model. Complying with all building codes in currents at this time.

BIM: our methodology

BIM Coordination and As Built Model

This aspect of the BIM Methodology is perhaps the most widely
disseminated but used only to establish the interferences between
engineering and architecture projects.

We in this area, start from the Topography to the construction ends,

manage the Coordination of the Information of the Project with all the
stakeholders involved. And we manage their Documentation online and in
real time.

Using OpenBIM servers such as BIM Track or BIM Collab we are able to
inform to the project managers about all O cial Documents, Contracts,
Planimetry, Speci cations, Product Catalogs, State of Management for
Government Permits, Design Errors, Reports, Establishment of Roles and
Responsibilities, etc. .

This allows us having a Work Book 4.0 in real time, to inform in a

hierarchical and o cial way, from the Proprietary, to the Project Manager,
BIM Manager, BIM Coordinator, Architecture, Engineering, Construction,
Heads of Land, Foremen and Contractors. Or any other people involved in
the project. This is done no longer using paper, but the Smartphone, the
Pad or the Laptop is the principal information media.

This is saved in only one single site, then all the preponderant information
of the project is accesible to the management and control.

PAPER SUPPORT AT ALL, EVEN THE ERRORS.

BIM (BUILDING INFORMATION MODEL) DOES NOT
ALLOW ERRORS. NOW THE RESPONSIBLE IS KNOWN
AND THE AUTHOR IS PART OF THE TOTAL PROCESS.
