Poland

Poland is a large country in northern Europe.

It has a population of almost 40 million
people. Many tourists visit Poland every year.
It has beautiful landscapes, friendly people
and you can do many activities there.
Climate

Poland has warm summers and very cold winters. The warmest region is Silesia in
the southwest and the coldest region is in the north. Winter is drier than summer.

Landscape

Poland has a beautiful coast in the north, with sandy beaches. It also has many lakes
where you can swim. There are also large forests, high mountains and a lot of
national parks with wonderful wildlife.

Places

Warsaw and Krakow old towns are fun to explore. If you like mountains, go to
Pieniny in the Carpathian Mountains. It’s great for walking and climbing. Gdynia, the
newest beach town, is the best place to go to relax. If you enjoy visiting old places,
then go to Malbork Castle.
