Farah Daud, the CEO of Fashioner by Farah Daud completed her matriculation from Cathedral

School and her further education from Kinnard College after receiving a bachelor degree in
political science then she did M.B.A I.T, Her interest in fashion designing and her masters in
business administration led to the formation of this business. She started her career as a
designer from a group of men in her local area who were doing nothing and were jobless though
however they were highly skilled and talented .

By God's grace she summoned them and with a handful of the highly skilled professional team
she had, she launched her first designer clothes. Starting the bridal and party wear dress
designing business from a mere group of two tailors and a few loom workers and machine
workers who were unemployed and were not doing any jobs, this business has been a huge
source of income for them. She ventured into party causal bridal and formal dresses
experimenting with fusions of old and new fashions . So with God in heart and with a handful of
previously unemployed people she started designing the dresses, launched the proper business
hired the model, and made a good portfolio. Her designed dresses were a huge blow in the
fashion industry. She was invited by Kenneth Barlis from Nyc on SD Fashion FEST and to visit
them and work with them in collaboration in recognition of wonderfully designed dresses. Due to
her strict criteria of working within the timeframe of orders and completing an order on time, she
soon began to witness the number of national and international orders pouring out of her brand.
Just not this brand was a huge success on the national level but also internationally, the
countries where this project is extended are Pakistan, Australia, America, Europe, as well as on
international level It is still high in demand due to it's high quality fabric, affordable prices and
excellent craftsmanship combined with zest and support of my team members. As an emerging

The Community we live in today does not support women to work but Farah symbolizes how
women should work!!Knowledge has been an essential component in her work , she says,” The
more I learn, the more motivated I am. The world is changing and if we want to remain
competitive, we have to learn. There is a lot of disruption is in the business world; companies
using disruptive business models. If you are not aware and stay in your field, you don’t see it
coming. You don’t see the changes that are taking place in business. So, for me, learning is very
important. It helps you think of new ideas and see things from different angles. You need to
reflect and learn from others”
