• Introduction of the Family

- The reason I chose this family is that their children had their own families and
there are just the two of them living together. Geraldo Augustin has a medical
condition that frequently requires him to rely on his wife Marilyn Augustin for help
since it has rendered his eye blind. and this FEDP is also to help them that's why I
chose them.

- According to their statement, receiving this type of orientation on fires and
disasters is crucial as it will broaden their understanding of these circumstances.
Additionally, they mentioned that they might impart this knowledge to other family
members so that everyone would be prepared for unforeseen disasters.

• Reflection
Share your personal reflection on the activity. Be guided with the following
questions:
• How aware are people on disasters? Why is your answer such?
 • I believe that everyone is aware of the various disasters that occur,
particularly in our nation but also in other areas of the world, such
as typhoons, earthquakes, fires, and many others.

• What needs to be done to ensure that more families are prepared?

• Expand the reach of this FEDP education by holding seminars and
teaching other people.

• Why is having an FEDP important?

• Given that we are unsure of the exact timing of the big one, it is
essential that the communities here had a willingness to learn.

Mga katanungan sa mga kalahok sa pamilya/komunidad:
• Ano po ang masasabi ninyo tungkol sa Gawain sa Adopted Family na may kinalaman sa
Family Emergency and Disaster Plan (FEDP) na isinagawa ng mga NSTP Students ng
National University?

- Maganda dahil ito ay makakatulong samin mag asawa upang makaiwas sa mga
masasalimuot na sitwasyon kapag dumating ang anumang mga sakuna, dahil sa
kaparaanang ito ay may mga bagay at gawain kaming pwedeng gawin upang maiwasan
ang kahit anong casualty.

• Ano ang inyong mga natutunan sa gawaing ito ng FEDP?

- Natutunan namin maging disiplinado sa mga masasalimuot na bagay gaya na lamang

ng sunog, dahil kailangan mo muna maging disiplinado upang maisagawa ng maayos
ang mga natutunan namin sa FEDP.

• Paano po ito makakatulong sa inyong sarili at sa pamumuhay?

- Makakatulong ito sa aming pamumuhay dahil madadala namin ito kahit saan man kami
 magpunta at alam namin ang mga gagawin kapag naranasan namin ang mga ibat ibang
sakuna.

• Sa inyong palagay, naisakatuparan ba ang layunin ng Gawain sa FEDP? Bakit?

- Para sa amin ay naisakatuparan naman ito dahil napakalaking bagay nito gaya na
lamang sa amin na dadalawa naang sa buhay at walang kasama sa bahay dahil ang
mga anak namin ay may kaniya kaniya ng mga pamilya.

• Gusto niyo po bang ipagpatuloy ang ganitong gawaing sa FEDP? Bakit?

- Gusto namin ipagpatuloy ang mga ganitong gawain dahil makakatulong ito sa mga tao
at komunidad upang maiwasan o mabawasan ang mga pwedeng mangyaring hindi
maganda kapag nag daan ang mga sakuna.
