Electromagnetics

Prepared by: Engr. Jayson E. Ebron

Electromagnetics is a branch of
physics that deals with the
study of electromagnetic fields
and their interactions with
electric charges and currents.

Electric Fields:
Electric fields are created by
electric charges, such as
electrons and protons. They
exert forces on other charged
particles, causing them to
move.
Magnetic Fields: Magnetic fields are generated by moving electric
charges, such as the flow of current in a wire. They also exert forces
on charged particles and can influence the motion of magnets.
Maxwell's Equations: Maxwell's equations are a set of four
fundamental equations that describe the behavior of electric and
magnetic fields.

Electromagnetic Radiation: This refers to the emission of

electromagnetic waves from sources such as antennas, light bulbs,
and stars.
