WHAT IS IT

An Online Platform is defined as a

technology or digital service that facilitates
interactions between two or more distinct
but interdependent sets of users (whether
firms or individuals) who interact through
the service via the Internet.
It also offers a range of services on the Internet including marketplaces,
search engines, social media, creative content outlets, app stores,
communications services, payment systems, services comprising the so-called
“collaborative” or “gig” economy, and much more.

b. Social Media e. Mapping
c. File Management and Cloud Computing

a. Presentation / Visualization – this online platform is used to communicates

information clearly and efficiently via statistical graphics, plots and information
graphics.
Examples:

Prezi is a multimedia presentation tool that

can be used as an alternative to traditional
slide making programs. Instead of slides, Prezi
makes use of one large canvas that allows for
panning and zooming to various parts of the
canvas to emphasize the ideas presented
there.
2
SlideShare is an online slide hosting service,
owned by LinkedIn, where users can upload
and publicly or privately share tutorials and
presentations in formats such as PowerPoint,
PDF, Keynote, OpenDocument etc

and facts based on a given topic.

naming, sorting and handling of computer files while cloud computing is the
practice of using a network of remote servers hosted on the internet to store,
manage, and process data, rather than a local server or a personal computer.

Google Drive is a free service from Google

that allows you to store files online and access
them anywhere using the cloud. Google Drive
also gives you access to free web-based
applications for creating documents,
spreadsheets, presentations, and more.

responsive-design sites, blogs, and online stores, but

repository.

through geographic information systems (GIS), on the Internet, more
