ACTIVITY:
Task 1: Search online for an application that has both a web version and a mobile version. Compare and
contrast the versions in terms of content, layout, and design.

The Facebook mobile application is the most popular social networking

application in the world. It is currently available for all major mobile
platforms including iOS, Android, Windows Phone and BlackBerry. The
Facebook web application has also been available in web browsers

Facebook's mobile application has more features than the web version, but
not all of them are available in the web version. The Facebook web application is the same as
the mobile one, with a few exceptions. The main difference between Web and Mobile versions of
Facebook is in how they look. The mobile version has a uniform, grid-like appearance that's
easy to navigate. The desktop version has a more cluttered interface, with many buttons and
links scattered around the screen. The two versions are also different in terms of content, layout
and design. The desktop version uses large images and text to make it easier for people who
want to share pictures or text quickly. On the other hand, the mobile version allows you to type
directly into your status updates, so you don't have to worry about taking pictures or selecting
text from icons on screen.

With the web application you can see a larger photo album with pictures from your friends
while browsing through your friends' profiles or updating your own profile information. On the
other hand, it is easy to use the mobile version because you can easily find the things you are
looking for compared to using a desktop version of Facebook. Furthermore, there is an
advantage in using the desktop version of Facebook for example, you can see all of your
messages from friends at once which makes it easier to read all of them at once rather than just
one at a time like on the mobile version. Moreover, the layout of both versions are similar but
there are some differences between them.
