PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS

PREVENTION: Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames, hot surfaces. No smoking. Keep container tightly

closed. Ground/bond container and receiving equipment. Use explosion-proof electrical,


ventilating, lighting equipment. Use only non-sparking tools. Take precautionary measures
against static discharge. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face
protection. Wash thoroughly after handling.

RESPONSE: In case of fire: Use water spray, carbon dioxide, dry chemical or alcohol foam for extinction.

If on skin (or hair): Remove/Take

SECTION 4 – FIRST AID MEASURES
SKIN: Rinse skin with water. Consult a physician if irritation persists.

EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for 10-15 minutes, keeping eyelids open. Remove contact

lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Call a physician immediately.

INGESTION: Rinse mouth. Do not induce vomiting. Drink 3 to 4 glasses of water. Do not give

anything by mouth if victim is unconscious. Call a physician immediately.

INHALATION: Breathe fresh air. Give artificial respiration if necessary. Consult a physician if discomforts

persist.
