Miss a Class?

Even if you haven’t done the homework, please still come to class! We are always
happy to see you, and you can still learn just from being here.

BUT ...

If you miss a class, please call the office to schedule a makeup. In some cities, it
might be several weeks until an opportunity for a live makeup is available. If so…

Recordings of classes 1‐9 are available online; you can watch anytime.

Homework Priorities

If you have limited time, prioritize:

1. Quant Strategy Guides
2. Verbal Assignments
3. Practice Tests

The syllabus contains PRIORITY CODES (** and *)

If you fall behind:

1. Do a little upcoming Quant first
2. Fill in the gaps later
3. Focus on weaknesses
4. Don’t give up!

Keys To Your Success

DO
1. Attend class and ask questions.
2. Take your first CAT immediately – you will benefit more from the classes!
3. Keep records of what you’ve done and what you need to go back to.
4. Practice vocab EVERY day.
5. Make FLASHCARDS for both math and verbal.
6. Make friends! A study buddy can keep you motivated.

DON’T
1. Put off vocab or CATs until “later.”
2. Get hung up on perfectionism; everybody misses questions on the GRE.
3. Get discouraged; everything here is learnable!
