COURSE OBJECTIVES:
This course deals with the repair of wireless communication equipment. . After completing this module
students will have a good grasp of the requirements necessary to perform a good repair of wireless
communication equipment. Students will be exposed to actual repairs during which they will be tasked with
following appropriate technical documentation, flow charts, configuration software, and using tools and test
equipment to affect the repair.

Attendance Requirements
Attendance is strongly recommended for both classes and labs. Students are responsible for all material
covered during the course even if they are absent. Students must obtain a passing average (80%) on the
weighted final exam in order to pass the course.
Because of the content of the course there is no ONE book that will suffice. Instead notes and handouts
will be provided.

The college policies on academic complaints, cheating and plagiarism, religious holy day absences and
missed examinations/tests will be followed.
Lab Policies:
Anyone caught playing games, installing or using illegal software in the labs will be subjected to
disciplinary action. During the lab periods you are expected to work on your assignments. It is not
permitted to use the internet during lab periods.

2 TEST RULES
Each individual student will complete repair work of wireless communication equipment starting
from written guidelines, a known good repair, plans and a troubleshooting procedures as well
as the necessary equipment.
The level of complexity of the failure should allow the student to apply a repair
procedure and to respects the diagnostic stages to find the source of the problem in a
reasonable amount of time.
The student will have to confirm to the examiner his diagnosis before carrying out
repair. The student will demonstrate that the equipment works properly after the
repair and note in his report the work done, also results of test performed.
