ENGLISH IV
4°”E”
Present perfect
Formation of the "present perfect"
The "present perfect" of any verb is composed of two elements: the appropriate form
of the auxiliary verb to have (in the present) and the "past participle" of the main
verb. The "past participle" form of a regular verb is root+ed, e.g. He played, he
arrived, he looked.
Afirmativa
Likewise, in the present perfect the participle of the verb must be used correctly.
