What are biotic factors?
• Biotic factors are all the living beings that are part of an
ecosystem and all the interactions that occur between them.
They usually refer to what is contemplated in the flora and
fauna of a given environment, but they also include fungi
and microorganisms.
Examples:
-Forests
-Fungus
-Animals
Importance: Biotic factors are important as they
influence survival and reproduction.
What are abiotic
factors?
• Abiotic factors are those like elements of
chemical or physical nature, basically abiotic
factors are the opposite of biotic factors, they
are those that do not have life.
Examples
-Temperature
-Light
-Water
Importance:Abiotic factors are important since
without them it would affect the biotic factors
because they require abiotic factors to live,
basically they are a complement.
Conclusion

• What I learned about this is that they are ecosystem

factors that are important in the formation of the
ecosystem. Abiotic factors are those that do not have
life, such as temperature, soil and light, and biotic
factors are those that have life, such as animals,
bacteria and humans.
