SUBJECT : REGULAR HOLIDAYS ON APRIL 2023

 Lenten Season of our Roman Catholic brothers and sisters will commence on the first
week of April 2023. Maundy Thursday and Good Friday will fall on the 6th and 7th of
April 2023, respectively, and these are considered regular holidays in the entire
Philippines.

 Next, on 9th of April 2023, Sunday, we are commemorating the prowess and heroism
of our fellow Filipino soldiers in Bataan, also known as Araw ng Kagitingan or Day of
Valor, which falls this 2023 on a Sunday.

 Lastly, our Muslim brothers and sisters will celebrate Eid al Fitr on 22nd of April 2023,
Saturday which marks the end of the month of Ramadan.

 This was declared holiday by the President of the Philippines and this was as well in
accordance with our organization’s practice that:
o If a holiday falls on a Saturday, application is on day before, which is Friday;

o If a holiday falls on a Sunday, application is on day after, which is Monday

 Hence, we will be applying the said holiday on 10th of April 2023, Monday and 21st of
April 2023, Friday.

 With all these said, if you wish to be out of office on the days before and after the said
