• The basic objectives of the theme “Robot” is to learn the difference between a machine and a robot.
• Students will be abled to differentiate between different types of robots; Humanoid and Non Humanoid.

✓ Have you ever wondered what is a robot and how does it work??
✓ Pictures of some robots are given to the students.
✓ Students will try to guess the function of a robot by seeing its picture, given to them.

• Presentation
✓ Show a picture of a robot and define and explain why is it called a robot instead of a
machine
✓ Show the picture of one Humanoid robot, explain why is it called a humanoid robot.
✓ Describe the main tasks of Humanoid robot.
✓ Show the picture of one non humanoid robot, explain why is it called non humanoid
robot.
✓ Describe the main tasks of non-humanoid robot.
