HOW TO CONFESS?

ENGLISH:
1st : “Good afternoon Father. Sign of the cross
Bless me Father for I have sinned, my last confession was (Month and Year)”
2nd: “Here are my sins” (Be sure that you confess all your sins, be honest)
3rd: Listen to the penance, pray the act of contrition
4th: Kneel down to the altar and pray the penance given to you.
BISAYA:
1st “Maayong hapon Padre, Bendisyoni ako kay nakasala ako, ako kataposan nga pangompisal
niadtong (Buwan ug tuig)”
2nd: “Mao ni ako nabuhat nga mga sala” (Be sure that you confess all your sins)
3rd: Pamati kon unsa nga penetensya ihatag sa Pari,…
4th: Luhod atubangan sa altar ug I ampo ang gihatag sa Pari nga penetensya…

Act of Contrition
O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended you. And I detest all my sins because I fear the loss of
heaven and the pains of hell, but most of all because I offended you my God who are all good and
worthy of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Your grace to confess my sins, to do penance and
to amend my life. Amen.
