Indirect Speech : My teacher said that microbes came in a huge variety of shapes.
b. Direct Speech : Ms. Maya said, “The COVID-19 virus can live on surfaces for days.”
Indirect Speech : Ms. Maya said that The COVID-19 virus could live on surfaces for days.
c. Direct Speech : She said, “People who don’t have symptoms may spread coronavirus.”
Indirect Speech : She said that people who didn’t have symptoms might spread coronavirus.
d. Direct Speech : John said, “Scientists develop tests that detect SARS-CoV-2 antibodies in
the blood.”
Indirect Speech : John said that scientists developed tests that detected SARS-CoV-2
antibodies in the blood.
