Anthony: An American journalist once said, and I quote “The dream begins with a teacher
who believes in you, who tugs and pushes and leads you to the next plateau, sometimes
poking you with a sharp stick called ‘truth’. These words are said by Dan Rather, and that is
why we are all here on this pleasant and productive day. We are here to celebrate, to
commemorate and to acknowledge our beloved teachers. Their hard work and teaching
deserve a triumph for their success.
Jiji: To our respected Dean, Dr. Linda Tello, ma'am, our Program head, Dr. Gloria Paragas,
all the loving teachers, and my dear classmates, a pleasant morning to everyone! We are
gathered here today to celebrate this amazing day as we honor the noblest profession in the
world. We are here to celebrate the generous contributions of teachers in society and
mankind. On the auspicious day of teachers, gratitude to all the teachers in this university,
especially the College of Teacher Education.
Anthony: Welcome to the 2023 Teachers’ Day Celebration, with the theme “The Teachers We
Need For The Education We Want: The Global Imperative to Reverse the Teacher Shortage.
AVP PRESENTATION
Jiji: To start our program, we aske everyone to please stand as we give thank and praise to
almighty God, for all the blessings and guidance he gave us today, and may we all remain
standing as we sing our national anthem, and to be followed by the L-NU hymn through an
audio visual presentation.

Anthony: The day that everyone desires has finally come. The day that is only for our
beloved teachers. You are everyone’s best friend, mentor, philosopher and pathmaker.
Therefore, we want to say thank you to all the teachers who always believe and provide the
best knowledge for us. We will always be grateful for your assistance in every situation,
especially when we need it.
Antohny: The way you teach.
OPENING REMARKS:
Jiji: To formally welcome us to our program, may I call on Ms. Diane Rhuby Narido, the
Vice Governor of the CTE department.

Anthony: Before we proceed on our tremendous part of the event, we will first witness the
talented students of L-NU Dance Troupe in their solo performances.
Anthony: Again, let us all give a round of applause to one of the prides of L-NU, the L-NU
Dance Group.
Anthony: Let us also be stunned by a special number that will be given to us by the selected
officers of the CTE Student COUNCIL (unknown)
Jiji: Today, in honor of Teacher’s Day, we journey through the sights and sounds that
encapsulate the essence of teaching, celebrating the heroes who shape our minds and hearts.
Sit back and let the audio-visual tribute transport you to the world of our unsung heroes, our
beloved teachers.

Jiji: At this juncture, we will show our honor to our teachers by giving them tokens, and lay
messages that symbolize not only infinite respect but also unconditional love for heroes.
ANTHONY: We provide this present as a sign of gratitude for your significant efforts,
diligence, and commitment to be able to provide knowledge about us.
ANTHONY: So, let us call in front, our CTE Governor, Jared Ceralde and Vice Governor,
Diane Rhuby Narido to present certificate and tokens to our instructors and professors of the
CTE Department. Let me read to you the text of the certificate.

ANTHONY: We ask our dearest teachers to remain in front as Ms. Richelle Pedroso, a fourth
year BPE students, will give her own customized handpainted foldable fans for our teachers.
These fans are made Ms. Pedroso. Thank you, Ms Pedroso, for such a creative gift for our
teachers. You are truly a great artist!
Jiji: We are deeply grateful for your presence as we celebrate the special Teachers' Day
Celebration.
ANTHONY :The gift we've given you symbolizes our heartfelt appreciation for your love
and hard work.
Jiji: Teachers are crucial figures who shape society's future by imparting knowledge and
skills in various settings, not just classrooms. They serve as educators, mentors, and guides,
fostering both intellectual and personal growth.
ANTHONY: Teachers also instill values, encourage critical thinking, and promote lifelong
learning. Their impact extends beyond academics, molding the next generation and shaping
responsible citizens. Dedicated teachers leave a lasting imprint on their students' lives.
Jiji: Again, to our future teachers, may we all stand and greet the shapers of our future, in
3,2,1. HAPPY TEACHERS DAY!!!

Anthony: Before we close the program, here is our Governor, Mr. Joseph Jared Ceralde for
his message.
