SMK BUKIT GARAM ENTRY 1 My Childhood Memories by Joen

Like Dora the Explorer, I looked for objects,

Growing up, life is full of mystery
and stopped Swiper from swiping.
No one knows what it’s like,
Only, Swiper did not take objects from me,
Will I be pretty? Will I be rich? but memories.
Que sera sera, whatever will be, will be, From a silly little lass,
The future is hard to see, Now, a pathetic teenage girl,
But I’ll keep waiting for that People say growing up feels like a hurricane,
But I end up in the eye and found a garden
of butterflies.
Back then,
Like Dory who kept on swimming,
I was just a child with a heart of lion,
I will too,
I was valiant and strong, just like
Sailormoon, Just keep swimming, swimming,
By the power of the moon, Until I reach it – the joy of growing up.
Nothing scared me,
Nothing at all, Those days of childhood ending,
I was as carefree as I was brave. A shining new era, now tiptoeing nearer,
So be prepared,
My mom is the loveliest person Because life is not perfect,
She likes to cook my favourite meal But it can be perfect,
My plates, always full, my belly, satisfied. All you have to do is put your past behind
you,
Her hug feels so warm,
And let love guide your actions.
Like a blanket on a cold, rainy morning.
Her voice sounds like lullaby in my ear,

It plays in my head like a broken cassette.

My childhood days are like an endless

theme park,
Filled with excitement and fun,
Every day is an adventure
For a child that is filled with curiosity,
Always wondering how things work,
And how things are.
