ASSESSMENT

Based on the discussion on self-awareness theory and self-assessment. Write an essay of not less
than 250 words reflecting on who are you or how you value yourself. You can entitle it with
“Who Am I” or “How I Value Myself”.

How I value myself is to be aware of my own qualities, abilities, and accomplishments.

Maybe I can make a list too for all the things that I am proud of, regardless of how small or big it
might seem. By acknowledging my strengths and celebrating my successes, I will be able to
build self-esteem and self-worth.

Treat myself the way I would treat my close friend, with kindness, compassion, and
understanding. Be kind to myself, forgive myself for any mistakes I have made and acknowledge
that I may not always be perfect. Remind my self that self-value is an ongoing process and it’s
okay to stumble along the way.

Also, it’s important to give my-self permission to be authenticated and express my thoughts,
feelings, and beliefs freely. Allow myself to be me or true to myself, without fear of judgement
or rejection, will be able to live my life with more confidence and happiness. I’ll always remind
myself that self-value is a journey, not a destination, and it’s important to take it one day at a
time.
