LAN CARD It is the network
interface card that is
used by the device to
communicate with the
network. LAN Cards
can be classified as
wireless or wired.
Wired LAN Cards are
also called conductive
LAN Cards.
UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY (UPS)
A device that allows a
computer to keep
running for at least a
short time when
incoming power is
interrupted. As long as
utility power is flowing, it
also replenishes and
maintains the energy
storage.
SERVER
A server is a
computer program
or device that
provides a service to
another computer
program and its
user, also known as
the client.
24 PORT-HUB

A physical layer
networking
device which is
used to connect
multiple devices
in a network.
24 PORT-HUB

A physical layer
networking
device which is
used to connect
multiple devices
in a network.
MODEM
The modem
connects your
home to the
Internet, while a
router creates the
network inside
your house.
FAX MACHINE
A device that is
used to send
documents
electronically
over a telephone
network.
PC VIDEO CAMERA

A webcam is a small
digital video camera
directly or indirectly
connected to a
computer or a
computer network.
USB EXTERNAL CD WRITER

It is specially
designed for
laptops and
desktops without
the internal CD
drive.
USB SCANNER
USB barcode scanner
is a scanner that will
connect directly to a
PC or Mac via a USB
port and it will use
software that can be
easily uploaded to
your computer.
USB PRINTERS
USB printer port
is a socket built
into a printer as a
way of
connecting the
printer to a
computer.
USB FLASH DRIVE
A USB flash drive -- also
known as a USB stick,
USB thumb drive or pen
drive -- is a plug-and-
play portable storage
device that uses flash
memory and is
lightweight enough to
attach to a keychain.
TOOLS
TOOLS
• Screwdriver(Standard)
• Screwdriver(Philips)
• Long nose pliers
• Mechanical pliers
• Allen wrench
• Multi tester
• Crimping tools
• Soldering iron (30 watts)
• Wire stripper
• LAN Tester
• Anti-static wrist wrap
SCREWDRIVER (STANDARD)
The standard slot
screwdriver is a very
simple yet useful
tool. It is most
commonly used to
remove and replace
slotted screws.
SCREWDRIVER (PHILIPS)
A Phillips
screwdriver has a
head with pointed
edges in the shape
of a cross, which fit
neatly into the cross
slots of a Phillips
screw.
LONG NOSE PLIER
Long Nose pliers are both
cutting and holding pliers
used by artisans, jewelry
designers, electricians,
network engineers and other
tradesmen to bend, re-position
and cut wire. Because of their
long shape they are useful for
reaching into small areas
where cables or other
materials have become stuck
or unreachable with fingers or
other means.
MECHANICAL PLIERS
Pliers are used for
pulling wires as well as
objects. They are also
used for splicing,
bending and tuning,
Most of the times
people mainly use
pliers for removing the
insulation of the wire.
ALLEN WRENCH

An L-shaped metal
bar with a
hexagonal head at
each end, used to
turn bolts and
screws having
hexagonal sockets.
MULTI TESTER
A multimeter or a
multitester, also known
as a volt/ohm meter or
VOM, is an electronic
measuring instrument
that combines several
measurement functions
in one unit.
CRIMPING TOOL
A crimping tool is the tool
used to deform the
material and create the
connection. Crimping is
commonly used in
electrical work, to attach
wires together or wire to
other connectors.
SOLDERING IRON
A soldering iron is a hand
tool used to heat solder,
usually from an electrical
supply at high
temperatures above the
melting point of the metal
alloy. This allows for the
solder to flow between the
workpieces needing to be
joined.
WIRE STRIPPER
A wire stripper is a
portable handheld tool
used by workers,
especially electricians,
for removing the
protective coating of an
electric wire in order to
replace or repair the
wire.
LAN TESTER

LAN tester is a device

which helps to observe
the connectivity and
strength of a particular
type of cable or other
wired assemblies.
ANTI-STATIC WRIST WRAP

Antistatic wrist straps are

designed to safely
ground operators
working with ESD
sensitive components,
preventing a build-up of
static electricity.

• Software Applications
• RJ 45
• UTP Cat 5 cable
• Desoldering Tool
SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS

Application software is a type of

computer program that
performs a specific personal,
educational, and business
function. Each application is
designed to assist end-users in
accomplishing a variety of tasks,
which may be related to
productivity, creativity, or
communication.
RJ 45
The eight-pin RJ45 connector is
a standardised interface which
often connects a computer to a
Local Area Network (LAN). This
type of connector was
originally developed for
telephone communications
but is now used in a range of
applications. The abbreviation,
RJ45, stands for Registered
Jack-45.
UTP (UNSHIELDED TWISTED PAIR) CAT 5 CABLE

Category 5 cable is
used in structured
cabling for computer
networks such as
Ethernet over
twisted pair.
DESOLDERING TOOL

It makes light work

of removing solder
and is designed for
single hand
operation.
