CHARLIEVILLE ASJA PRIMARY

ASSESSMENT 8
POETRY
STD 4

I started on my homework, Tornadoes blew my notes away….

but my pen ran out of ink…. Volcanoes rocked our town…..
My hamster ate my homework…. My books were taken hostage
My computer’s on the blink by an evil killer clown…..
I tripped and dropped my homework Some aliens abducted me…..
in the soup my mom was cooking…. I had a shark attack….
My brother flushed it down the toilet A pirate swiped my homework
when I wasn’t looking…. and refused to give it back….
My mother ran my homework I worked on these excuses
through the washer and dryer… so darned long my teacher said,
An airplane crashed into our house…. “I think you’ll find it easier
My homework caught on fire. to do the work instead.”
