1.3.3 Apron Restrictions
Follow-me / Marshaller
Marshaller and Follow-me mandatory during parking on stands not equipped with Visual
Docking Guidance System (A-VDGS).
Follow-me instructions mandatory in case the intended ACFT PSN or the enter/exit PROC
on APN does not comply with the markings.
Engine Power Limitations
Use MNM thrust to exit stands on APN 1 ( stands 80, 82, 84), 2, 5A, 5B and 7A.
Parking Stand Restrictions
ACFT stand maneuvering guidance lights not AVBL for stands 1-25, 31B-43B, 47 and 48.
Stand 11: entry to the stand available from the northern side only.
Stands 44, 44', 45L, 45L', 45, 45', 45R, 45R', 47, 48, 201-203: stands AVBL only SR to
SS. After SS, only towing operations are allowed and no servicing is possible.

1.4 Operation
1.4.1 Preferential Runways
LDG:
1. RWY 33; 2. RWY 11; 3. RWY 15; 4. RWY 29
TKOF:
1. RWY 29; 2. RWY 15; 3. RWY 33; 4. RWY 11
RWY 15/33 is preferential for code letter F ACFT. If there is no access to RWY 15/33, it is
possible to use RWY 11/29.
1.4.2 Transponder Operation
Transponder Mode S
Select AUTO mode and assigned Mode A code. If AUTO mode is not AVBL, select ON (e.g.
XPDR) and assigned Mode A code.
• from receiving CLR to push-back and start-up or taxi whichever is earlier;
• after landing, continuously until the ACFT is fully stopped on stand.
Transponder shall be deactivated immediately after parking.
TCAS should not be selected before receiving CLR to line up. It should be deselected after
vacating the RWY.
For ACFT taxiing without flight plan, Mode A code 2000 should be selected.
Aircraft not equipped with Transponder Mode S
Squawk assigned SSR-code ONLY when instructed to line up on RWY.
Switch off the transponder upon vacating the RWY after LDG.

1.5 Noise Abatement Procedures (NAP)
Engine Run-up Areas
Engine tests prohibited 2100-0500‡.
1.6 Low Visibility Procedures (LVP)
LVP in force when RVR falls below 550m and/or ceiling is at 200ft or below.
LVP will be terminated when all of the RVR increase over 550m and the cloud ceiling
reaches 200ft or above and a continuing improvement is anticipated.
In LVP conditions TWY Z is the preferred TWY. On TWY Z in LVP conditions no restriction in
respect of RVR apply.
TWY Z Orange and TWY Z Blue may be used with RVR not less than 400m. If RVR is less
than 400m, the TWY Z Orange and TWY Z Blue CLL will be switched off.
Follow-me mandatory on TWYs not equipped with serviceable CLL.
During Visibility Conditions 3 (RVR < 400m), follow-me mandatory on TWYs where SMR
(Surface Movement Radar) coverage is not AVBL or when the GND movement surveillance
is unserviceable except when only one aircraft is taxiing via TWYs A5-8 or L.
1.7 Warnings
1.7.1 Caution Notes
During taxi to RWY 29 HLDG PSN on A4 do not miss E1 (left turn).
MIL AD (Warsaw/Babice EPBC) 6.6NM NNW of AD could be mistaken for Warsaw AD
(EPWA), on APCH RWY 15.
Birds in vicinity of AD.
2 ARRIVAL
2.1 Speed
MAX IAS 250KT below FL100 in airspace classes D and G.
Speed Reduction Procedure for Warszawa TMA
If an appropriate ATC unit did not instruct otherwise, Warszawa TMA entry points speed is
280KT IAS.
Then according to RNAV charts reduce to IAS 250KT and IAS 220KT.
When established on ILS CAT II or LOC 11/33 MAX IAS 160KT until D4 WAS/WA.
VOR APCH RWY 11, 15, 29 or 33 MAX IAS 160KT from D8 OKC.
Speed reduction must be executed without further reminding from ATC.
2.2 Communication
Contact GND after vacating RWY, unless otherwise is instructed by TWR.
When transferred from APP to TWR, initial call to TWR should contain call sign only to avoid
FREQ congestion.

2.3 Communication Failure
Procedure when no STAR is in use
• Maintain last assigned and acknowledged ALT/FL. Proceed to WAR DVOR/DME. Over
DVOR descend to 4000ft. Then proceed FAP ILS Z RWY 11 or FAF VOR RWY 11,
execute APCH and land (ILS or VOR RWY 11). If LDG is not possible, execute MISAP
and proceed to FAP/FAF of most convenient RWY, execute APCH and land.
Procedure for RNAV 1 Approved ACFT
If STAR was assigned and acknowledged:
• Continue with FPL and assigned STAR, then execute APCH (ILS or VOR) and land.
Descending shall be executed in accordance with vertical restrictions specified on
chart after 2min from setting 7600.
If STAR was assigned and acknowledged and vectoring was initiated:
• Continue on assigned HDG and last CLR and acknowledge ALT for 2min. Then
proceed direct FAP/FAF and execute APCH (ILS or VOR) and land. Descending shall be
executed in accordance with vertical restrictions specified on chart.
If STAR was not assigned:
• Proceed according to FPL and FPL STAR, execute APCH (ILS or VOR) and land.
Descending shall be executed in accordance with vertical restrictions specified on
chart after 2min from setting 7600. If LDG is not possible, execute MISAP and
proceed to FAP/FAF of most convenient RWY, execute APCH and land.
Procedure for RNAV 1 Not Approved ACFT
• Maintain last assigned and acknowledged ALT/FL. Proceed to WAR DVOR/DME. Over
DVOR descend to 4000ft. Then proceed FAP ILS Z RWY 11 or FAF VOR RWY 11,
execute APCH and land (ILS or VOR RWY 11). If LDG is not possible, execute MISAP
and proceed to FAP/FAF of most convenient RWY, execute APCH and land.
2.4 Arrival Procedure
2.4.1 Continuous Descent Approach (CDA)
• Arrange descent to pass 7000ft AMSL within 25NM to touchdown;
• Expect track miles INFO or base leg INFO from ATC at or above 7000ft AMSL. Do not
turn on base leg until instructed;
• At or before downwind PSN maintain IAS 220KT or MNM clean speed, whichever is
greater.
2.4.2 Minimum Runway Occupancy Time (MROT)
Ensure standard MROT procedures. Refer to RAR and in addition:
If possible, vacate RWY 33 via rapid exit TWY S1, S2 as preferred exit.
If possible, vacate RWY 11 via rapid exit TWY N1 as preferred exit.
2.4.3 Non-standard GP Intercept Position on RWY
RWY 11
GP intercepts RWY 11 at 308m / 1011ft after landing threshold.
Remaining DIST beyond GP is 2252m / 7388ft.

3.5 Start-up Procedures
3.5.1 Start-up/Push-back
A-CDM Events ATSU Description
Report Ready DLV TSAT +/-5min
Request Start-up GND TSAT +/-5min
Push-back/taxi shall be commenced not later than 8min after receiving start-up approval
at push-back PSN.
Start-up while parked on stands 109-110 is prohibited.
Stand 9, 10, 10L, 10R: After receiving push-back CLR, inform the push-back staff which
TWY line (colour) the ACFT is to be pushed-back to.
Stand 47, 48, 53B, 54A, 54B, 61-63, 64-66, 75-76, 708-712, 81, 83, 85-88, 91- 98:
push-back or power-back procedures apply.
Power-back operations are allowed at all ACFT stands excluding stands 1 to 25 (APN 3).
Power-back is possible after receiving permission of GDN and follow-me coordinator
acceptance.
Power-back is possible only with follow-me coordinator assistance.
Stand 804-811: Notify GND when leaving stand via TWY U3.
If requiring full length of RWY 11/29 or 15/33 inform GND prior to taxi.
Extreme caution when awaiting TKOF CLR since different RWY may be used for TKOF than
the one communicated in ATIS.
3.5.2 Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM)
A-CDM concept in use at this airport. See General Part/RAR/RAR In-Flight.

In exceptional cases TSAT can be obtained at TOBT from DLV.
Request ATC CLR 10min before getting ready for push-back or start-up providing the

• DEST;
• planned cruising LVL (if other than in FPL);
• any changes to FPL.
It is highly recommended to request de-icing before TSAT is issued.
3.6 Departure Procedure

3.7 De-icing

De-icing Procedures:
• De-Icing may only be carried out by a ground handling agent with appropriate
authorization;
• De-Icing AVBL on APN 7A, 10, 13 only;
• Report the necessity for de-icing to your ramp agent fist.
• Report the necessity for de-icing when REQ ATC clearance to DLV;
• Follow-me mandatory to enter to de-icing stands;
• ACFT taxiing to de-icing positions without following this PROC will not be accepted
and will be moved to the end of the sequence;
• ATC is not responsible for de-icing neither have contact with de-icing agents;

TWY to Object A1, A3, A4, ACFT speed must be limited to 15KT.
Separation A5, A6, A8
TWY to Object D2, D3, D4, Available TWYs only when RWY 15/33 is inaccessible

Taxilane to Object M1 Adjacent vehicle operation must be restricted while A380 on Taxilane.
Separation
RWY Holding A0, H2 When holding for arriving ACFT A380 is required to hold on parallel
Position TWY.
Parking 10 When A380 is parked at stand 10, the parking stands 10R and 10L
must be free of all ACFT and parking stand 9 must not be occupied by
ACFT with wingspan > 61m (A345, A346, A380, 747-400, 747-8,
777-200LR, 777-300ER). Adjacent vehicle operation must
be restricted.
Parking 61 When A380 is parked at stand 61, parking stand 62 must be restricted
to Code D ACFT. Taxilane behind stand 61 must be restricted to
Code E ACFT. Wing marshaller is required if stand 62 is occupied by
another ACFT.
Parking 702 Stands 701, 703, 71 and 72 must be free of all ACFT.
Parking 74 Stands 706 and 707 must be free of all ACFT. Wing marshaller and
tow required.
Parking 102 Stands 101, 103, 101A and 103A must be free of all ACFT.
Runway 11/29 RWY 11/29 to be used for Taxiing only.
Note : For non-standard routes, taxiing permittd only with ATC permission and supervision.
