1. Creating a post to your account page

1) Open your Instagram app. Remember to log in to the account you want to use.

2) On the main page you have five icons at the bottom of the screen, press the + icon
in the middle.

3) In the gallery, choose the picture or video you want to use in the post. When you
are ready, press the arrow in the top right corner.

If you want multiple pictures or videos, press the Select Multiple icon next to the
Camera icon.

4) Customize the picture or video as you wish by using the filter and edit sections.
When you are ready, press the arrow in the top right corner.

Use the dark grey arrow in the top left corner to move backwards if you pressed
the blue arrow accidentally or want to return a step.

5) On the last page, write a caption for the post.

6) Choose whether you want to tag people, add a location, music and fundraising
campaign, and publish the post on other sites like Facebook.

If you cannot find a specific song, location etc., it does not exist in the app, and
you will need to use another that is available or leave it blank.

7) Press the check icon in the top right corner when the post is complete.

Troubleshooting

2. Following and unfollowing a person

1) Open your Instagram app. Remember to log in to the account you want to use.

2) On the main page you have five icons at the bottom of the screen, press the
magnifying glass ( ) icon.

3) At the top of the screen is a Search bar, press it, which opens the keyboard and
your most recently used searches.

4) Write the name or username you are looking for. If that person’s account appears
to your screen, press that person’s name.

If you cannot find the person, the person does not have an account, or you have
spelled the name/username incorrectly.

5) There is a bright blue Follow button on that person’s account page and pressing it
will follow the person.

5) There is a light grey Following button on that person’s account page. Press it to
open a section with different options. The last choice is Stop Following. When you
press that, it will unfollow the person.

3. Finding your account’s interactions

1) Open your Instagram app. Remember to log in to the account you want to use.

2) On the main page you have five icons at the bottom of the screen, press the icon
that has your profile picture in it.

3) On your account page, there are three lines in the top right corner. ( )
Press it to open a section with different options. Select the second one, Your
activity.

4) On the next page you will find more options. Select the third one, Interactions.

5) There are different categories on the page, and by pressing on the category you
need, will open a list of pictures, videos, comments or responses (your
interactions).

6) Filter the page from newest to oldest or the other way around, and by the dates or
authors you want to see.

When you press on the Select button in the top right corner, you can Unlike
pictures and videos or delete Comments, Sticker responses and Reviews or
remove pictures and videos from the Not interested section.
